Kudos are given to the team efforts of Dr. Ajay Panwar, an Interventional Neurologist and Brain Stroke Specialist, Dr. Anubhav Sharma, a Critical, Pain, and Palliative Care Specialist, Dr. Vandana Goyal, a Pathologist, Dr. Kartik Mittal and Dr. Jasmine Kaur, Radiologists, and Mr. Rajinder Gupta and Mrs. Suman Aggarwal, Pharmacy and Purchase Managers, along with their respective team members. This includes the Medical Officers, Nursing Staff, GDAs, Technicians, Pharmacists, and Support and Paramedical Staff of the ICU, Pathology Lab, Radiology Department, Pharmacy, and others. The team successfully recovered a young female who was diagnosed with GBS, a rare disorder in which the immune system attacks the nerves. The patient spent a total of 32 days in the medical ICU, with 12 days on a ventilator and 5 days on a non-invasive ventilator. Despite the extended stay and use of ventilators, the patient was discharged without experiencing any pressure injuries or hospital-acquired infections. The team at RACGH wishes the patient a healthy and prosperous future.
