A young pediatric patient, who came for a follow-up, was treated three years ago for Stage IV Wilms tumour—a type of kidney cancer. To receive the treatment, the patient and her family travelled all the way from Bihar, covering about 1300 kilometres to reach Dr. Jai Dev Memorial Rotary Ambala Hospital (DJMRH). By the grace of God, she has been off treatment for the last three years and is doing well. All thanks to the incredible efforts of Dr. Vaneet Anand, our pediatrician, hematologist, and oncologist, along with his dedicated chemotherapy team.
