The NICU department of the Dr. Jai Dev Memorial Rotary Ambala Hospital (#DJMRH) is happy to share the heartwarming story of a miracle baby. A 26+4-week premature baby, weighing just 625 grams, was admitted to the Newborn Intensive Care Unit (#NICU) due to extreme prematurity and respiratory distress. Under the care of Dr. Vaneet Anand, a pediatrician, hematologist, and oncologist, along with his dedicated NICU team, this little fighter bravely faced numerous challenges.

Little Fighter was under ventilator support and battled sepsis and septic shock. Despite the odds, our little champion showed incredible resilience.

After a remarkable journey, the DJMRH’s NICU department proudly discharged the little champ, weighing 1.4 kilograms. This achievement would not have been possible without the unwavering efforts of Dr. Anand and his NICU team, who worked tirelessly to ensure the best possible outcomes.

We celebrate the life, hope, and resilience this story embodies. Congratulations to the family and a heartfelt thank you to Dr. Anand and his NICU team for their exceptional care and dedication. Best wishes to our little champ as they go home!
