Dr. Jai Dev Memorial Rotary Ambala Hospital (#DJMRH) hosted an important Pediatric and Adult Basic Life Support (BLS) course for its staff, including medical officers and nurses. The event was organized by the Pediatric Critical and Palliative Care Department and aimed to equip healthcare professionals with life-saving skills in emergencies.
With an AHA-certified instructor leading the training, attendees learned essential techniques for performing CPR and other first-aid measures for both children and adults. The course was not only informative but also practical, helping participants become more confident in their ability to act swiftly and effectively in critical situations.
A total of fourteen medical officers and thirty-five nurses participated, making it a well-attended and successful session. Upon completion, each participant received a certificate recognizing their newly acquired skills.
Dr. Vaneet Anand, a pediatrician, hematologist, and oncologist, expressed his satisfaction with the event and emphasized the importance of such training in saving lives during emergencies.
DJMRH remains committed to providing high-quality care and empowering its staff with the best possible skills to support patient health and safety.
