The Newborn/Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at Dr. Jai Dev Memorial Rotary Ambala Hospital (DJMRH) is glad to announce the recovery of a recent NICU graduate. The term NICU Graduate is used for the baby patients who are discharged from the NICU in stable, safe, and sound condition. The baby, born prematurely at 29 weeks (approximately 7 months) and weighing just 1.1 kg, faced respiratory distress and required ventilation. After a challenging month in the NICU, the baby was discharged in a happy and healthy condition, weighing 1.5 kg. The successful treatment was provided under the Ayushman Bharat Scheme. Kudos to Dr. Vaneet Anand, a pediatrician, hemotologist, and oncologist, and the entire NICU team for their outstanding care and dedication.

The team of the DJMRH wishes the patient a healthy and happy life ahead!
